KUWAIT CITY, April 14: The cricket match of the year !!! KOC cricket committee has been organizing some of the most prestigious cricket tournaments in Kuwait for over five decades. The traditional festival match between Indian XI and Pakistan XI has been held regularly since 1994 at the Ahmadi Cricket Ground. Apart from the regular T-20 tournaments conducted in Ahmadi cricket grounds, this is a unique event that tops all and grabs the attention of people beyond the cricketing arena in Kuwait. It is an event that consists of the very best players from both sides of the border who are residents of Kuwait. It is a one day international between selected Pakistan XI vs. India XI that takes place before the close of the cricketing calendar, consisting of the best Pakistani and Indian players from all the top teams in Kuwait. This year KOC cricket committee is organizing this match today.

The match starts at 8 am and is expected to be nothing less than a thriller of a match played with a lot of passion and aggression. The match will conclude with a presentation ceremony at 4:00 pm. The event is guaranteed to offer a lot of fun for families and friends apart from watching their loved ones play, they also have a chance to go home with some impressive prizes. It will be an intriguing day of play for players too as they get a chance to perform in front of a big crowd and display their cricketing skills to their full potential.

This match is played under strictest of discipline and in a very cordial and friendly environment. The results in the past have always been of touch and go nature and this year promises another great contest between the two well balanced teams. Khaled Butt a well known Pakistani cricketer in Kuwait who had served Kuwait Cricket for a decade leads the Pakistan XI. The Indian side is led by experienced Rishi Jayan which comprises of youth and experienced players. There are some exceptionally talented players on both sides, watching them in action would be a treat worth going many miles.
