Bride of 2 men goes missing ‘No truth in strike by 120 Saudi inmates’

KUWAIT CITY, April 13: Police are looking for a young Syrian woman who reportedly escaped from her husband’s home just three days after getting married to the man, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily added this is the second time she has escaped in just three days. When a missing persons report was filed by the woman’s father with the Taima Police Station she was picked up from the home of her Pakistani lover and returned to the Syrian husband.
However, when she disappeared for the second time, the police arrested the Pakistani man. He denied knowledge of her whereabouts but said he married her before she escaped.

Gang assaults singer: Police have arrested two people and are allegedly looking for eight others for breaking into the Sulaibikhat Diwaniya of a popular singer and assaulting the son and the son’s friend, reports Al-Rai daily. One of the suspects was allegedly armed with a gun and he threatened to shoot both the youths while the others mercilessly beat them and escaped. The two youths were arrested after the victims gave police their names, places of their residence.

Saudi inmates:  The Central Prison authorities have denied press reports which said 120 Saudi prisoners inside the facility had gone on strike, reports Al-Anba daily.
The daily quoting reliable sources said the prison authorities have denied these allegations.
They claim all prisoners are being treated fair and square and there is no need for anyone to demonstrate.
