KUWAIT CITY, April 7: An unidentified maid has filed a complaint with the Abu Halifah police accusing her sponsor and his wife of torturing her, reports Al-Anba daily.
The victim, who has been admitted to the Adan Hospital with burns on her legs, said she was burned by her sponsor with metal skewers.
The sponsor and his wife have been summoned for interrogation.

Jawhara account hacked: A Kuwaiti woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, has filed a complaint with the police accusing an unidentified person of stealing KD 6,000 from her Jawhara account, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
In her complaint to the police the woman said the money was withdrawn from her account four days ago. Police are looking for the culprit.
