Bedoun hurt in fight with Kuwaitis Indonesian Maid survives suicide bid in Farwaniya

KUWAIT CITY, April 6: A 27-year-old Indonesian housemaid sustained serious injuries when she jumped from the second floor of her sponsor’s house in Farwaniya in an attempt to commit suicide.
Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location after the Operations Room received information on the suicide attempt. They took the housemaid to Farwaniya Hospital and she is now confined in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
A case was registered and investigations are in progress to determine the actual circumstances that prompted the housemaid to try to end her own life.
Bedoun hurt: A Bedoun suffered head and nose injuries after engaging in a fistfight with two Kuwaitis in Sulaibikhat.
Securitymen and medical emergency personnel were dispatched to the location immediately after the Operations Room received a call from a passerby who witnessed the fight. The paramedics rushed the Bedoun to Sabah Hospital, while the security officers started the search for the two Kuwaitis who fled from the scene after sensing police presence.
Wanted in 6 cases: Securitymen arrested a Kuwaiti wanted by law for his involvement in six drug and criminal cases.
While on duty on the Coastal Road, opposite Mangaf, the securitymen asked the Kuwaiti to stop for routine inspection. When they checked his security records, they discovered he has been sentenced to six years in jail for his involvement in drug and criminal cases. He was referred to the concerned security department for the necessary legal action.
Phone snatched: A Kuwaiti filed a case in Andalus Police Station that the mobile phone of his son was snatched by an unidentified person while he was walking towards the grocery shop with the housemaid.
The housemaid told police she saw an Asian man grab the phone from the boy and escaped from the scene. A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to arrest the suspect.
