Cries of dumped newborn baby surprise passerby Youth gets KD 300 worth tyres fixed at knifepoint

KUWAIT CITY, April 5: A newborn baby boy was found inside a carton near an embassy in Kaifan.
Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location after the Operations Room at the Ministry of Interior received a call from a passerby who found the baby. He told the authorities he was surprised when he heard a baby crying while he was passing through the area. He then searched for the baby until he found him inside a carton, so he quickly informed the authorities. The paramedics referred the baby to the Maternity Hospital and the doctors confirmed he is in good condition.
A case was registered and investigations are in progress to identify the parents.

Four tyres for free: Police are looking for an unidentified youth for cheating an Asian worker and robbing him of KD 70.
The youth reportedly went to a tyre shop in Jahra Industrial Area and asked the worker to change all four tyres of his vehicle. He agreed to pay KD 300 for the tyres and when the worker finished the task, he said doesn’t have cash and asked the worker to come with him to the nearest bank where he would withdraw the money and give it to him. The worker agreed, but the youth instead of taking him to the bank, drove to the desert, stole KD 70 from the worker at knifepoint, dropped him there and escaped.
The worker filed a complaint and provided details of the suspect and his vehicle to police.

Two cops insulted: Two security officers filed a complaint against two Kuwaitis, who allegedly insulted them while they were on duty.
According to the officers, they stopped two Asian laborers, who were herding camels on the main road in Qashaniya, to issue citations for leaving the animals on the road. The laborers informed their sponsors — both Kuwaitis — who rushed to the checkpoint and insulted the officers.
A case was registered and the two Kuwaitis will be summoned for questioning to verify the complaint.
