Dependent visa validity - After husbands visa cancelled
Assuming my husband cancelled his visa when travelling and if the visa of the children was valid till, lets say December 2011, will they be able to travel and come back to the country before December 2011? Or does the fact the husband does not have a valid visa also voids the children’s visa after they travel out of the country?

Answer: They can travel as long as the immigration officers don’t notice that their father’s residence has been cancelled. The law says the visas of all those sponsored are also cancelled but most of the time this is ignored. The logic is simple, if the sponsor is not a resident of the country then how can those whom he is sponsoring be residents.
