Ethiopian woman sexually harassed by gang Man held for beating girlfriend, sister

KUWAIT CITY, April 3: An Ethiopian woman working at a shop in a commercial complex lodged a complaint at Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station, accusing a group of Asians of sexually harassing her. She said the men live near her flat and had harassed her several times. Police took details of the men and will call them for interrogation.

Girlfriend beaten: A Kuwaiti man was arrested for beating his girlfriend and her sister at their home in Salwa area. The man reportedly entered the girlfriend’s house, beat the sisters and ran away. Acting on information, securitymen rushed to the place and managed to arrest the suspect who was found to be drunk.
During interrogation, the suspect said he drank alcohol to forget the girl and added that she was willing to marry him but her father was against the wedding. A case was registered.

Asian mugged: Three Asian robbers attacked another Asian and snatched KD 150 from him. The victim, who is believed to be in his 40s, lodged a complaint at Farwaniya Police Station and provided a medical report to prove that he suffered injuries during the attack. Police noted down the description of the suspects and circulated the information to all checkpoints.

Wanted duo held: Police arrested two men who were wanted by law in two separate criminal cases and referred them to authorities. The men were travelling in a car at a very high speed on a coastal road opposite Mangaf when they were stopped by police patrols.

Kuwaiti hurt in fight: A Kuwaiti man was injured during a fight he had with two other compatriots on Sunday. Paramedics referred him to Farwaniya Hospital, while police arrested the other two involved, say sources. A case was registered.

Stuntmen nabbed: Police arrested thr-ee youngsters for performing stunts with their vehicles in Fahaheel area and also recovered four narcotic pills from them. The youths were referred to authorities for further action.

Music systems stolen: Thieves broke into five cars parked at a garage in Sulaibiya area and stole cassette decks. The cars reportedly belong to an unidentified company, and representative of the company filed a case at the police station. Police have since lifted fingerprints to trail the thieves.
