KUWAIT CITY, April 2:  Police have arrested an unidentified girl for wearing indecent clothes and insulting policemen, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The girl was in a semi-nude state while leaving a suspicious building in Al-Riqei and she allegedly insulted policemen who stopped her for checking documents. She was referred to Andalous Police Station and a case has been registered against her.


Liquor peddler caught: Police arrested two Asian bootleggers separately and seized local made alcohol from their possession, reports Al-Rai daily.
The first Asian was arrested while driving in Farwaniya and police seized three cartons full of bottles containing local brew from his vehicle.
The other trafficker was arrested in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area and police recovered 15 bottles containing local alcohol from him.
The contraband and the traffickers have been referred to authorities.

No gunmen found: Ahmadi police rushed to a place in Sabahiya after receiving several calls about random shooting in the area, but nobody could be arrested, reports Al-Anba daily.
Police patrols near a wedding tent in the area said the shooting came from another place and that a bullet pierced the car of a Kuwaiti citizen who happened to be in the vicinity.

Suicide bid foiled: Sulaibikhat policemen foiled a GCC national’s attempt to commit suicide inside a cell using a broken soft drink bottle, reports Al-Anba daily.
The GCC national was in police custody for attacking his father when the latter refused to give him money.
