Thief arrested after two years Accomplice sought

KUWAIT CITY, April 1: The Hawally police have arrested an unidentified thief who had been evading arrest for the past two years, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily added police were looking for the thief who specialized in breaking in people’s homes and stealing valuables.
The suspect was arrested while breaking into a shop in one of the commercial complexes in Salmiya.
The daily added the Hawalli police acting on information rushed to the spot and whisked him away to the police station for interrogation.
He is said to have admitted 24 thefts in collusion with an accomplice from a GCC state. The person has allegedly left the country.
The suspect said both men stole electrical appliances and cell phones and sold them at the Friday market and in other GCC states.
An arrest warrant has been issued for the other suspect.
