KUWAIT CITY, March 26: Police are looking for an Egyptian plumber who allegedly raped an Ethiopian housemaid while she was alone at her Kuwaiti sponsor’s house, reports Al-Anba daily.
A lawyer from the maid’s embassy filed a complaint at Umm Al-Haiman Police Station, saying the plumber was called to do some work but he, on sensing that the woman was alone, raped her and escaped. 
The sponsor is said to have provided the telephone number of the plumber to police.

Fake cop robs Asians: Police have arrested a Bedoun man for impersonating police and robbing Asians, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
A police source said the Operations Department of the Interior Ministry received a call from an Asian who said an impersonator robbed him while he was walking on a street in Al-Rai. Police rushed to the place, chased the robber and arrested him.
The impersonator was reportedly placing fake number plates on his vehicle.

Guard run over, dies: Police have arrested an Arab mechanic for running over a compatriot guard at a project site in an Adan suburb, reports Al-Rai daily.
The mechanic repaired a truck and perhaps while test driving, ran over the guard, killing the latter instantly. The mechanic then ran away to escape legal problems.
Securitymen conducted intensive investigations and it led to the arrest of the mechanic at the airport shortly before his departure.
Police found out that the mechanic did not know how to drive and didn’t have a driving license.
