KUWAIT CITY, March 22: A Kuwaiti woman in her mid 30s filed a case in Andalous police station against some youths she knows who tried to kidnap her 18-year old brother.
The woman narrated the youths had made an effort to bundle her brother into a car, in order to molest him, but he managed to escape. Details of the suspects were circulated to checkpoints to arrest them. A case was been registered.

Hashish found: A Bedoun man was apprehended by patrol officers in possession of hashish at a checkpoint in Sulaibiya area.
Sources said the man aroused suspicion of securitymen after they noticed he was roaming the area late at night.
The officers found hashish stuffed inside a piece of cigarette after conducting a search on him. The suspect was sent to the relevant authority without delay.

Liquor seized: Security operatives on routine patrol nabbed two people with 2 bottles of liquor in their possession at an unspecified location in the country.
The officers are said to have spotted the suspects inside a car parked in front of a school in the dead of night. They went on to conduct a search inside the car and found liquor. The culprits were referred to the concerned authority.

Duo stabbed: Two citizens, 18 and 19 years respectively, were stabbed during a fight with five other youths in Umm Al-Hayman area. The youths are said to have fought with sharp weapons.
Acting on report, a rescue team rushed to the scene, and the injured youths were referred to the Adan Hospital for treatment. The other members of the feuding party fled the scene before police arrived, but police have registered a case against them.
