KUWAIT CITY, March 21: A female citizen of New Zealand has filed a complaint with the Rumaithiya Police Station accusing unidentified persons for raping her, reports Al-Rai daily.
The woman said her female friend invited her for her birthday party in her apartment in Salmiya. The host offered her a drink and after some time she lost consciousness.
She added after she came to her senses she discovered she had been raped. The victim has given police the information about the friend who invited her to a party.

Account hacked: Police are looking for an unidentified person for withdrawing KD 1,000 from the bank account of a Kuwaiti woman in the suburb of Fahd Al-Ahmad, reports Al-Rai daily. The theft was discovered when the woman received an SMS about the withdrawal.

‘I am from Giza’: Police have arrested a 25-year-old Kuwaiti youth for drinking alcohol and possessing drugs, reports Al-Shahed daily.
According to security sources the youth was standing by the side of his car at the Farwaniya Hospital and when police asked him what he was doing in the area, he claimed he was from Giza in Egypt.
He also told police he wanted to vote for change of constitution in his country. When police sensed he was in a disoriented condition, they searched his car and seized three fingers of hashish. He has been referred to the authorities.

Suicide attempted: A Filipino housemaid who tried in vain to end her life by setting herself on fire has been admitted to a hospital with second degree burns, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The woman allegedly poured kerosene on her body and set fire to her clothes.

Robbers nabbed: The Capital Governorate police have arrested eight Asians for robbing passersby, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
A police source said the arrest came following complaints filed by three different people.
 but all of them said eight people surrounded them and threatened to cause them harm if they refused to hand over their possessions.
Police set a trap for the men and caught them red-handed.
