KUWAIT CITY, March 20: A company representative reported with police that an unidentified person has stolen cheques worth KD 100,000 and important documents from his car.
The complainant told police he was shocked when he saw the broken window of his car, which was parked near his flat in Hawally.  He immediately checked the contents and to his dismay, he discovered the thief took a bag that contained cheques worth KD 100,000 and some documents. Police lifted fingerprints to identify the suspect.

Eve-teasers held: A team from the Hawally Security Directorate recently carried out a surprise inspection campaign in the area, resulting in the arrest of 15 youths who were harassing female students near a school.
Sources revealed the youths were referred to the concerned security department where they were asked to sign a pledge of good conduct. It has also been reported that the security officers cut the hair of the youths as punishment.
