Girl calls for sex change
KUWAIT CITY, March 6: The Court of First Instance rejected the request of a girl to undergo sex change operation.
The girl is said to have asked the court to appoint an expert to carry out the operation, as well as refer her to Forensics to examine her under the supervision of three professors from the College of Medicine, who will sign a medical report, stating her genetic make-up and chromosomes are that of a male. She also wants the professors to attest that a medical error was committed when her male organ was allegedly removed in a previous operation; thereby, depriving her of the chance to enjoy her manhood. She also demanded the State of Kuwait and Ministry of Health to shoulder the expenses of her sex change operation.
