KUWAIT CITY, March 5: A Kuwaiti woman filed a complaint with police against her ex-husband, who allegedly abused her sexually on Belajat Street in Salmiya.
The woman told police the suspect signaled for her to stop when they met on the road. Thinking that he had something to discuss with her, she pulled over, but to her surprise, her ex-husband molested her and fled from the scene immediately after the assault. 
A case was registered and police will summon the suspect for questioning to verify the woman’s allegation.

Girl harassed: Four unidentified men harassed an 18-year-old Arab woman inside a well-known shopping complex in Salmiya.
Sources said the suspects followed the woman in all corners of the complex, trying to be ‘friendly’ with her. When she rejected their advances, the men pushed her and the woman lost consciousness. An eyewitness immediately reported the incident to the Operations Room, which dispatched a team of securitymen and paramedics. 
The woman was provided treatment on the spot, while the suspects were referred to a nearby police station for interrogation and other necessary legal action.

Youth run over: An 18-year-old young man was injured when he was run over by a car driven by another youth after a fierce fight broke out between two groups of young men inside a famous park in Julaia’a.
Paramedics and securitymen rushed to the location after receiving information on the fight.  They referred the injured to Adan Hospital, while the driver of the car was arrested in Yarmouk.

KD 2,000 stolen: An employee reported that an unidentified person stole KD 2,000 from the company he is working for. 
According to the complainant, he discovered the theft when he reported for work and saw that the safety deposit box was broken.  The employee told police he cannot name any suspect, so the officers lifted fingerprints to identify the culprits.
