Sponsoring of Dependent visa

Amnesty has been declared and it clearly states that one can rectify his/her status by paying up the accumulated fines, would it be possible for a close family member to sponsor me and transfer my residence under to 22 (dependent) if the family member qualifies (more than KD 250 salary).

Answer: You have not said what your relation is to this close family member. Not any family member can sponsor another on a dependent visa. A man can only sponsor his wife & children and with special permission his parents.
So, if you fall in this category you can be sponsored on a dependent visa otherwise not.

As a man, you lost your job, residency expired, you should apply only visa.18. Your wife cannot sponsor your dependant visa. it is not possible, not allowed, eventhough during amnesty.
