‘I’ve been tortured’; Beaten by cops

KUWAIT CITY, March 2: Police are looking for an unidentified 21-year-old woman on whom her family has filed a missing persons report with a local police station, reports Al-Rai daily.
A police source said woman went to a police station in Mubarak Al-Kabir and filed a complaint saying she had been tortured by her family.
However, the director of the police station doubted her story and got all her particulars including her cell phone number and right so following day the family filed a missing persons report on her.

Beaten by cops: A police officer and two policemen from the Farwaniya Police Station have been summoned for interrogation following a complaint filed by an unidentified person who said he was beaten while in police custody, reports Al-Rai daily.
A police source said an unidentified police officer who was working second shift discovered the man was badly beaten and referred him to a hospital for treatment and based on a report issued by the hospital asked the man to file a complaint against the suspects.
According to a police source the man was beaten because he refused to give his cell phone number to the suspects.
