Man offers wife to bosses for promotion Asian duo held with 90 liquor bottles

KUWAIT CITY, March 1: Police are looking for an unidentified man for allegedly taking advantage of his wife and forcing her to have sex with his office bosses, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to the complainant the husband invited his bosses to his home, treated them for coffee and forced his wife to sleep with them so that he could get promotion at his work place.
The woman allegedly escaped from the man and sought assistance of her embassy. The embassy employee than accompanied the woman to a police station and filed a complaint against the husband.

Asian duo held with 90 liquor bottles: Two Asians were nabbed by security operatives in possession of 90 bottles of local brew along the Fahaheel Motorway.
The suspects are said to have become confused at the sight of securitymen, prompting the officers to stop them for checking.
Sources said the contraband was found after securitymen conducted a search inside their car. They were referred to the concerned authority without delay.

‘Faith-healer’ nabbed: Police have arrested an unidentified expatriate for cheating several people. He reportedly sold his patients herbs and water to cure illnesses of various types, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to reports the suspect charged KD 50 to examine a ‘patient’ and sold a bottle of water for KD 100 each and herbs mixed with cortisone for between KD 200 and KD 300.
The man claimed the medicine had spiritual value and was good enough to cure any illness. He claimed to have read over the medicine verses from the Holy Quran and that he believed in faith healing. Acting on this information and armed with a search and arrest warrant issued by the Public Prosecution, police raided the home of the suspect in Jahra and caught him red-handed.
Police are said to have seized from the man bottles of water and herbs and referred him to the authorities.

Police are looking for an unidentified Kuwaiti man for breaking into the home of a compatriot and shooting at his family, reports Al-Shahed daily.
According to reports the man went to the home of the victim and rang the bell. When the man’s wife answered the door, he shot at the wife and his son and escaped.
It is not known if anyone was injured. The daily did not give more details.

Thief takes ‘grant’:  Police are looking for an unidentified person for stealing KD 1,000 from the car of a Kuwaiti man which was parked in a suburb of Jahra, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The man said this money is the Amiri grant he received.
He reportedly kept the money in the car and went shopping but when he returned he saw the side glass broken and the money missing.
