I am working in a private company on an Article 18 visa (project). I have completed more than 9 years with the same company. Now I have a job with a ministry in Kuwait. Can I transfer my residence? If the sponsor refuses to give a release what can I do?

Answer: If you have been nine years with the company, it should not refuse you the release but if it does you can go to the labour department in your area. Even if you are on a government project, the requirement of working with the company is only five years. You should have no problem getting a release.
