Indian hangs to death in Mahboula

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 19: An Indian man hanged himself to death with a rope tied to a tree on a main road in Mahboula, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
A police source said passers-by saw the Indian climbing the tree. He then reportedly tied one end of the rope to the tree and the other around his neck and jumped before anyone could react. Eyewitnesses attempted to save him, but it was too late. The man’s remains were referred to Forensics and police are conducting investigations.
In another unrelated incident, an Asian man committed suicide by hanging himself in his room at his sponsor’s chalet in Al-Zour area, reports Al-Anba daily.

Teens wreck shop: Police arrested several Kuwaiti youngsters and are looking for their other friends for assaulting an Asian employee of a shop selling lighting accessories, his elderly Lebanese sponsor and damaging the shop in Hawalli area, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
A police source said a Kuwaiti youngster got into an argument with the Asian salesman and started attacking him and his 77-year-old sponsor. The youngster then allegedly called around 30 friends who broke into the shop and damaged the goods.

75 cars seized: Traffic po-lice impounded 75 cars and issued 1,150 citations during several campaigns launched against traffic law violators over the past few days, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.

Generators stolen: Police are looking for three people who allegedly broke into a Kuwaiti man’s camp in Judailat and escaped with two power generators and other camping stuff, reports Al-Rai daily. The Kuwaiti owner filed a report at Sulaibikhat Police Station, saying the thieves tied up the guard before escaping with the loot.
