Asian expat attempts suicide 2 couples caught drunk

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 18: An Asian expatriate tried to commit suicide inside the sponsor’s residence in Ardiya. A rescue team arrived at the location following a distress call the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry received in that regard, and paramedics rushed the Asian to the Farwaniya Hospital in critical condition. A case has been registered.

Couples held drunk: Police officers apprehended two citizens with two other female compatriots for consuming alcohol at a checkpoint in Kabad area.
Also, the officers found a bottle of liquor after conducting a search inside the vehicle. The suspects were referred to the concerned authority for necessary action.

Afghan hurt in fight: An Afghan expatriate sustained serious injury during a fight with a compatriot in Amghara scrap yard. Securitymen accompanied paramedics to the scene after the Operations had been notified in that concern, and the injured person was carried to Jahra Hospital for medical care while the other member of the feuding party was taken into custody.

Liquor seized: An Asian expatriate was caught in possession of 9 bottles of liquor in Jleeb Shuyoukh after security operatives on patrol spotted the man roaming the area late at night and ordered him to stop for checking. The man was referred to the concerned authority after securitymen found the contraband inside his car.

7 sheep stolen: A Kuwaiti citizen in his early 30s filed a case with police officers in Kabad police station to report thieves who raided his livestock pen in the area and stole 7 sheep. The man narrated he had gone to the pen early morning and discovered the crime. A case was registered for investigation.

Phone shop robbed: A citizen in his mid-30s filed a case against unknown persons that raided his shop in Riqqa area and stole 13 mobile phones plus KD 380 cash.
The man narrated the suspects had broke open the glass window and entered the shop. Criminal Evidences Men went to the scene and lifted fingerprints to trail the suspects. A case has since been registered for investigation.
