Police nab two Arab expats for selling forged visas to people Man wanted in 20 swindling cases caught

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 15: Police have arrested two Arabs for forging work permi-ts, reports Al-Rai da-ily.
According to security sources the men were arrested after police rece-ived information that they were selling the work permits to unidentified people.
Armed with a search and arrest warrant police raided the apartment of the suspects in Hawalli and took them into custody.
During interrogation the men are said to have admitted to their crime. Police are looking for their accomplices.

Super fraudster held: The Salmiya police have arrested an unidentified person who was wanted by law in connection with 20 cases of swindling people, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to reports the suspect is wanted by law for deceiving people to the tune of thousands of dinars after luring them into joint partnership business ventures.
The daily added when police received information that the man was holed up inside an apartment in Salmiya, they raided the place and took him into custody. He has been handed over to the authorities.

Corpse in sea: The Kuwait Coast Guard, police and personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department rushed to a beach in Oqaila following calls to the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior that a bleeding corpse was floating in the sea, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The remains of the man have been referred to Forensics to identify the cause of death. Meanwhile, police are investigating the incident.

Parts thief held: The Cap-ital Governorate police have arrested an unidentified Somali man for breaking into auto spare parts shops, reports Al-Shahed daily.
According to security sources after several theft complaints were filed by shopowners, police kept began their investigations and caught the man red-handed while selling brand new car spare parts to a police agent.
During interrogation the man is said to have admitted to committing the crimes. Police have also seized from the man part of the loot and referred him to the concerned authorities.

Cash stolen: Police are loo-king for an unidentified person for withdrawing an unidentified sum of money from the bank account of a Kuwaiti woman, reports Al-Anba daily.
The daily said the woman discovered the theft when she received an SMS from the bank saying the money has been withdrawn from her account. At this time the woman discovered the loss of her ATM.
Police have requested to check the CCTV camera of the bank branch from where the money was withdrawn.

Hoax-caller nabbed: Pol-ice have arrested an unidentified divorcee from a GCC state for making a hoax call last Friday, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to security sources the woman called the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior and claimed she had been kidnapped, driven to a desert and raped by unidentified persons.
However, when police confronted the woman, she gave contradictory statements.

Police hunt burglar: Police are looking for an unidentified burglar, believed to be an Asian, for breaking into the home of a Kuwaiti man in Khaldiya and stealing furniture and electrical appliances, reports Al-Rai daily.
The theft has been recorded by a CCTV camera. The daily did not give more details.
