State Security police car stolen Kuwaiti, Egyptian held with drug-filled cigarettes
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 14: Security operatives arrested a 19-year old Kuwaiti and a 20-year old Egyptian in possession of three packets of cigarettes filled with hashish in Salmiya. The officers were on routine patrol when they spotted tinted glass vehicle the suspects were riding and ordered them to stop. The officers decided to check inside the car, as they noticed the suspects have become jittery. Subsequently, they found the contraband. Police have since referred them to the relevant authority for prosecution.
Police car stolen: Police are looking for an unidentified person for stealing a vehicle belonging to the State Security police, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to security sources a complaint has been filed with the Fahaheel Police Station.
In the complaint an unidentified security man said the vehicle was stolen from the parking lot of his home.
Stolen or lost: Police are looking for an unidentified burglar who allegedly broke into the home of a police officer and stole his service revolver, reports Al-Anba daily.
A case has been registered at a police station in the capital governorate. The officer is being interrogated to know if the revolver was stolen from his home or he lost it.
Trespassers caught: Police have arrested two people on horse back for trespassing into a camp in Mina Abdullah said to belong to a female member of the ruling family, reports Al-Rai daily.
The people are being interrogated.
Stuntman nabbed: Night duty patrolmen affiliated to the Jahra Security Directorate have arrested a young reckless motorist for endangering the lives of other road users, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. He has been detained for making stunts with his vehicle in a suburb of Al-Qasr. The youth has been arrested and his sports car has been impounded.
