Termination - 3 months notice

I have been working in a private company for two years. But suddenly the company has terminated me with a 15-day notice. My question is that the new Labor Law says the notice should be given before three months. Can I file a complaint against them? Can the company force me to transfer my residency with a one month notice?.

Name withheld

Answer:
Any termination from Feb 20, 2010, the day the new Labor Law was published in Kuwait Gazette must be accompanied by a 3-month notice. If the company doesn’t want to keep you for 3 months it should pay you for that period. The company is wrong and you can file a case with the Labour Office in your area.

transfer to another companygilbert | 4/24/2011 10:58:19 PM I am working in a coffee shop for 3 years and 7 months. I requested a release to my company because I found a job but same field means coffee shop also. But my manager told me that I am not allowed to work in same field. Is that true? Can you give me a good answer for this matter. Thank you very much.
search for jobSrivi | 2/13/2011 10:31:08 AM first search for job. once you got job, take local transfer paper to old company, request for local transfer. then File case in shoun, for 3 months salary. your matter become complicated, if company will not give release. take precaution, till shoun case is over.
