KUWAIT CITY, Feb 11: Officers from the Immigration Investigation Department apprehended 3 pimps and 11 women inside a den of prostitution in Mangaf, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
A security source said the officers acted on a tip off the department received about immoral activities carried out inside the apartment, and a team of detectives was formed to arrest them. Guarded by search and warrant from the Public Prosecution, securitymen raided the apartment at dawn and arrested the pimps and 11 women that had been reported absconding by their various sponsors.
According to the women, one of the pimps was forcing them against their will to engage in immoral activities in return for money by holding them against their will inside the apartment. All the suspects have since been referred to the concerned authority for necessary action.

Asian held with 4 bottles of liquor: An Asian national who was found loitering in Mirgab area was taken into custody by security operatives after they discovered the man was trading in liquor. They seized four bottles of the contraband from him.
Sources said the suspect tried to escape on foot but securitymen managed to arrest him.
