Spoilt food, meat confiscated
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 9: The Ahmadi Municipal branch launched a surprise inspection campaign at various shops and a cooperative society within the governorate and confiscated 75 kilograms of spoilt food and meat, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
Also, the team issued 24 citations against hygienic condition violations, running shops without commercial licenses and employing workers without health certificates.
Fainting at top: A Kuwaiti woman in her 20s sustained injury to the head when she fell from the top of a well-known commercial complex in Salmiya after fainting suddenly, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. Paramedics were on hand to refer the woman to Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital for medical care.
