What do we have to do to get our passports back if the company is an international employer and has left the country while the local company which provided the visas says it doesn’t have the passports. They say the passports are with the employer who hired them internationally. Is it possible to apply for a new passport?

Answer: First check with the international firm, you must have their address or other contact details. If they don’t have it and nor does the local firm, then report the matter to the Immigration Intelligence Dept, which is in the basement of the Shuwaikh Immigration Dept. After that, with a copy of the report, apply for a new passport.
