KUWAIT CITY, Jan 30, (KUNA): The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) board has agreed to increase the salaries of oil sector employees, Minister of Oil, Minister of Information, and KPC Chairman Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah announced Sunday.
Al-Abdullah told the press that the increase was to honor the employees’ hard-work and to better the work atmosphere and services.
The increase would be forwarded to the Supreme Petroleum Council and then sent to the Civil Service Commission (CSC) for final approval, he said.
