US, Kuwaiti boys raped; Back to the trade Egyptian Rep forges medical docus for ‘unfit’
KUWAIT CITY, Jan 26: Police are looking for three individuals for kidnapping and raping two boys (a Kuwaiti and an American). Both victims are believed to be below 13 years of age, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to a complaint filed with the police the victims were playing in the vicinity of their home in Riqqa and the suspects forced them into their vehicle, took them to a desert and raped them.
Back to the trade : A Kuwaiti citizen who had been released from prison after serving six months in a drug related case and the possession of an unlicensed weapon was apprehended by security forces upon the directives of the Director General of Drug Control Department Major General Ahmad Al-Khalifa.
Sources said security operatives were alerted on activities of the suspect, and with a warrant from the Public Prosecution the officers raided his home in Sulaibiya and found 3kg of hashish and additional 1,000 narcotic pills, plus a weapon. The suspect is said to have tried to attack the officers using the weapon, but he failed.
In a similar development, securitymen raided the home of another citizen in Jaber Al-Ali area and found 200 grams of unspecified drugs and a weapon. Sources said the suspect was involved in several drug cases. He has since been referred to the relevant authorities.
Forger nabbed: Personnel from the Security Control Department of Ports and Borders affiliated to the Interior Ministry are said to have arrested an unidentified Egyptian representative of a company for forging ‘FIT’ medical certificates to help people work in food and medicine sectors, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The suspect was arrested when one of the employees discovered the stamp on one of the certificates belonged to a doctor who has been outside the country for a long time.
The suspect has been referred to the authorities for interrogation.
Angry young man: Police have arrested an unidentified youth for insulting members of an unidentified family and threatening to harm them in addition to damaging the vehicle of their daughter, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to security sources the incident took place in a suburb of Sa’ad Al-Abdullah when the family refused to get their daughter married to the youth.
During interrogation the youth admitted to the charge following which he has been handed over to the police.
ATV stolen: Police are looking for unidentified persons for stealing an ATV (all-terrain vehicle) from a house in Hawalli governorate, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
In her complaint to the police a Kuwaiti woman said the thieves got into the house compound by climbing over the wall in Surra when the family was away and stole the vehicle.
Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identify the culprits.
Absconder caught: The Ahmadi police also arrested a bedoun man who had been sentenced in absentia to a two-year jail term, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
He has been handed over to the Sentences Enforcement Department.
