Kuwaiti arrested for killing Asian woman 3 weeks ago One hurt in Bangladeshi gang fight

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 22: Hawalli securitymen have arrested a Kuwaiti man in his 50s for allegedly killing an Asian woman three weeks ago, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The woman was found dead on Amman Street and investigations revealed that the victim had relations with the Kuwaiti.
Police are interrogating the man.

Bangladeshis fight: Police ha-ve arrested a number of Bangladeshi men for fighting in Mahboula and referred them to authorities, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
One of the Bangladeshis was rushed to hospital with deep cuts on his head. Police are interrogating the Bangladeshis to find the cause of the fight.

Contractor arrested: Khaitan securitymen have arrested a contractor for issuing dud cheques worth KD 200,000 to a businessman, reports Al-Rai daily.
Securitymen, acting on information and armed with a search and arrest warrant, raided the house of the contractor in Khaitan and referred him to authorities.

Hashish seized: Security officers on patrol in the Ahmadi Governorate apprehended a Kuwaiti citizen for the possession of a finger of hashish. According to sources, the patrol team noticed the man was driving in a reckless manner. The officers discovered he wasn’t in normal condition when they stopped him for questioning. Upon a search they conducted inside the car, the officers found hashish and he was referred to the concerned authority without delay.  

Flat broken into: Police are looking for a burglar who broke into an Egyptian’s apartment in Fintas and escaped with KD 500, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department had lifted fingerprints from the scene.
