Please advise if an Article 20 visa (Domestics) can be transferred to an Article18 visa (work permit) even if the sponsor is different. Or what is the best way to get an Article 18 visa if the visa 20 sponsor gives a release

Answer: No, you can’t transfer to any other sponsor. According to the law, you can only transfer from Article 20 to Article 18, if the firm you are transferring to is owned by the same sponsor.
The only other way is to get a new visa, get the current one cancelled, leave the country and return on the new document.
