US citizen held for attacking official at airport

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 15: A US citizen was arrested and referred to Jleeb Police Station for attacking a public servant while on duty at the airport and disregarding the orders of security operatives.
Sources said the man is an Asian of American nationality, and he blamed the worker weighing the luggage of being too slow and delaying travelers. This developed into serious argument and the suspect reportedly tried to attack the worker but passers-by restrained him.
Also, he is said to have remained adamant and refused to calm down when securitymen intervened, leaving the officers no option than to seize his passport and refer him to the concerned authority.

Bike, laptops stolen: Thieves burgled the home of a Kuwaiti citizen in Abu Halifa and made away with a motorbike and KD 2,500 worth of laptops.
Sources said the man returned home late at night and discovered his door had been broke open, with the aforementioned items missing. He filed a report without delay, while Criminal Evidences Men arrived at the house and lifted fingerprints to trail the thieves.

Thieves take pigeons: A Kuwaiti citizen in his late 30s filed a case in Wafra police station and reported that thieves raided his pen and stole 7 pigeons worth KD 1800.
The case was registered for investigation to trail the thieves.

No car, no rent: A 43-year-old Kuwaiti man filed a case in Al-Rai police station against an individual who rented a vehicle from his car rentals and declined to return it after a week. He noted the suspect has also refused to pay the outstanding bill.
Police registered the case for investigation, and the suspect will be called for interrogation.
