Commercial Visti Visa transfer to Work Visa

I arrived in Kuwait on a commercial visa in Kuwait on Jan 3, 2011. Due to some problems my sponsor is having difficulty in converting this visit visa into a work visa.

What is the time limit my sponsor has before he starts the process of converting the commercial visit into a work visa and once the process is initiated can I stay in the country even if the stipulated time of 30 days is over.

Answer: There is no time limit to start the proceeding for converting the commercial visit visa into a work permit and you should not worry on that account.
Secondly, your sponsor should not have any problems in getting an extension to the visit visa. You, however, must ensure that this extension is done as you can’t stay in the country without it.

if accepted.....Srivi | 1/15/2011 10:08:28 AM once your visit to work conversion, application is submitted and accepted in shoun, you will get a token number, to collect your work visa. Then your application is accepted. you can get your work visa approval. but, in case, not accepted in counter, you may not get token number, to collect your visa. then assume that your application is rejected, till you get work visa approval in hand.

max 90 daysSrivi | 1/15/2011 9:47:04 AM you company can renew your visit visa, 1 month again 1 month, and maximum 3 months or more. thats all. within 90 days, your company has to apply for visit visa to work visa conversion in shoun, using your degree. (without degree not possible). it will take 15 to 45 days to approve, if all papers are in order. if approved, you can go for kuwait medical, make residency immediately. if rejected, you should leave kuwait, within maximum 90 days, if company renewed your visit visa. No other way. confirm with company, is it possible in 90 days or not ? check company problem in shoun ? solvable or not ?
