Gold, cash taken in theft Youth stabbed in fight
KUWAIT CITY, Jan 13: Police are looking for thieves who broke into a Bedoun’s house and stole KD 300 and gold items worth KD 240. The Bedoun filed a report at Sulaibikhat Police Station, saying he found the main door of his house broken when he returned home. Criminal Evidence Department officials lifted fingerprints from the scene and investigations are going on.
Laptop stolen: A Kuwaiti man in his 40s filed a complaint at Riggae Police Station, saying someone stole his laptop from his vehicle. He said he parked his car in front of a coffee shop and when he returned, he found the window pane broken and the laptop missing. Criminal Evidence Department men lifted fingerprints from the scene.
Youth stabbed: A 19-year-old Kuwaiti youth suffered a stab injury in his shoulder during a fight with two others in Sabah Al-Nasser area Thursday.
Acting on information, paramedics rushed to the scene and referred the youth to Farwaniya Hospital. Police are looking for the other two who ran away after stabbing the victim. A case was registered.
2 held drunk: Police arrested two Kuwaitis, believed to be in their 30s, for consuming alcohol and referred them to authorities. The arrests were made at a checkpoint set up on Kabad Motorway.
Fake officer: Security operatives apprehended a 20-year-old Kuwaiti citizen in military uniform at a commercial complex in Salmiya. He was referred to the concerned authority for further investigation.

Liquor found: A motorist in tinted-glass vehicle was arrested at a traffic intersection in Sulaibiya when he aroused suspicion of patrol officers and they requested him to stop for checking.
Sources said the officers discovered he was wanted in a drug related case. Also, they found three fingers of hashish and two bottles of liquor after conducting a search inside the car. He was referred for further investigation.
Theft at camp: Thieves stole an electric motor, two nets and other electric equipment from a Kuwaiti man’s camp in Kabad area. The Kuwaiti, believed to be in his 40s, filed a case at Kabad Police Station and said he made the discovery when he went to the camp in the morning. Police are investigation the case.
