Spoilt meat found in expat’s car

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 12: An expatriate was apprehended with a huge quantity of spoilt meat inside his vehicle at a security checkpoint on Jahra Motorway, opposite Granada area.
Police are said to have doubted extra weight the vehicle was carrying and requested the suspect to open the trunk. It was then they discovered the spoilt meat. The officers referred the expatriate with the items to the relevant authority.

Three hurt: Three Iranians sustained first and second degree burns respectively when fire engulfed a building for bachelors in Bneid Al-Gar.
Based on information, paramedics accompanied firefighters and securitymen to the location to rescue the victims, who were sent to the Amiri Hospital for medical care.
Sources said the firemen managed to douse the flames in a record time, without it extending to a nearby restaurant. A case was registered.
