‘I am fond of him’ - Man harassed

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 4: An unidentified person has filed a complaint with the Jahra police accusing a young woman of harassing him by sending him love SMS on his cell phone.
In his complaint to the police the man said the woman continues to send his messages in spite of warnings.
When the woman was summoned by police she said she is Kuwaiti and is fond of the man.

Youth gets dad arrested: An unidentified youth is said to have handed over his father to police who was wanted by law for failing to pay KD 7,000 debt, reports Al-Rai daily. The man has been handed over to the concerned authorities.

Addict nabbed: The Abdullah Al-Mubarak police have arrested an unidentified Kuwaiti for consuming drugs.
According to security sources a police patrol noticed a car parked in the parking lot of a school in the area at an odd hour.
When police drove to the car they found the ‘addict’ in abnormal condition. He has been referred to the General Department for Drug Control.

Account hacked: A Kuwaiti woman whose identity has not been disclosed has filed a complaint with the Taima Police Station accusing an unidentified person of withdrawing money from her bank account. The woman claimed she had lost her ATM card and after she found it, she discovered KD 1,500 had been withdrawn from her account.

Medical items stolen: A Kuwaiti woman whose identity has not been disclosed has filed a complaint with the police accusing unidentified persons of breaking into her car and stealing medical equipments, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identify the culprits. A case has been registered at the area police station.

Man flees with van: An unidentified youth is said to have filed a complaint with the Mina Abdullah police accusing an unidentified person of stealing his van, reports Al-Anba daily.
In his complaint the man said the suspect was riding with him and when he stopped to refuel the vehicle at an unidentified petrol station, the suspect got behind the vehicle and drove off. Police are looking for the thief.

Illegal weapon in car: Police have arrested an unidentified youth, a citizen from the Gulf Cooperation Council country, for allegedly attempting to smuggle an unlicensed gun into the country, reports Al-Anba daily.
The daily quoting security sources said police acting on information checked the car of the suspect when he was entering the country at the Al-Salmi border post.
