Minor girl abducted from home, sexually assaulted by 3 youths 7 held in vice den raid

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 3: The Hawalli police have arrested three youths for kidnapping and raping a minor girl, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The victim who is believed to be a Westerner telephoned her father from an unidentified location saying she had been kidnapped by three youths. The father also could hear her screaming and sobbing.
When the father filed a complaint with the police, securitymen managed to find the location from where the call was made and rushed to the spot and freed the victim.
During interrogation the youths are said to have admitted to breaking into the home of the victim and taking her to an apartment in Salmiya where they raped her successively.

7 held in vice den raid: Four Asian men and three female compatriots were arrested in various dens of prostitution in Jahra area, following an extensive campaign by security operatives in the zone. Sources said absconding cases had been registered against the suspects. They were referred to the concerned authority for necessary action.

Firm owner cheated: A Kuwaiti woman has filed a complaint at the Fahaheel Police Station accusing the manager of her company of using her power of attorney and registering 11 real estate properties in his name, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The suspect is also a Kuwaiti and the victim belongs to a prominent family. A case of betrayal of trust has been registered against the manager. He will be summoned for interrogation.
In an unrelated development, a Kuwaiti man who broke into the family chalet at an unidentified location under the influence of alcohol has been arrested and referred to the authorities, reports Al-Shahed daily. According to reports the man barged into the chalet and started beating his wife for no apparent reason and the children who witnessed the incident called the Operations Department of the Interior Ministry.

Barber in drug trade: Police have arrested an unidentified barber from Jahra for trafficking in hashish, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily quoting security sources said police acting on information that the man was selling drugs inside his salon and a public park in Mubarak Al-Kabir put him under surveillance for some time and finally raided the salon and seized 10 fingers of hashish. The contraband and the trafficker have been referred to the authorities.

Drunk duo attacks cop: Police have arrested two young motorists for driving under the influence of alcohol and attacking police with sharp objects, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The ‘drunkards’ were arrested for reckless driving along the King Fahd Expressway. When police asked the youth behind the wheel for his license, both the youths acted boisterous and one of them got out of the vehicle opened the car trunk and pulled out a sharp object to hit the officer.
However, both the youths were overpowered and taken to the Fahaheel Police Station.
In other news, the Ahmadi police have arrested a Kuwaiti man for drinking alcohol and possessing four bottles of whisky. He has been referred to the authorities.
