KUWAIT CITY, Jan 3: Police have arrested a 33-year-old French teacher for molesting a 20-year-old female student of a private school, reports Al-Rai daily.
The incident happened inside the home of the victim in Al-Qurain when the suspect was giving private lessons.
It has been reported the teacher took advantage of the situation because the parents of the student were not at home. He reportedly seeing an opportune time kissed the girl and when she screamed for help he ran away.
The family provided police information about the tutor and he was taken into custody from his home in Hawalli.
During interrogation the teacher has admitted to committing the crime.

Woman, expat steal phones: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti woman and an expatriate for stealing cell phones from a shop in Nugra, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to reports the expatriate told the salesman his wife, who was waiting in the car, wanted to see new cell phones.
The salesman believed the man and gave him the phones and the latter escaped in a car.
The salesman noted the car plate number and informed police. The thieves have been referred to the authorities.

Thief caught in act: Police have arrested a 30-year-old bedoun for breaking into the home of a Kuwaiti man in Sabah Al-Salem, reports Al-Shahed daily.
A police source some neighbors saw the man leaving the house, prevented him from escaping and called the police.
When police arrived they handcuffed the man and seized from his car several items which he had reportedly stolen from two homes in the vicinity.
He has admitted to committing several crimes.

Brother-in-law hit: An unidentified man has filed a complaint with the Abdullah Al-Mubarak Police Station accusing his brother-in-law of assaulting him, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The incident happened when the suspect visited the home of his in-laws with his wife.
According to reports the suspect hit his brother-in-law with a sharp object causing him injuries.
