KUWAIT CITY, Jan 3: An 88-year-old Kuwaiti man was found dead in the bathroom of his flat in Salmiya area Monday.
Sources say securitymen, acting on information about foul smell coming from the flat, broke open the door and discovered the corpse. Preliminary investigations indicate that the elderly Kuwaiti fell down and succumbed to his injuries. He was living alone in the flat. A case was registered and the man’s remains were referred to Forensics.

Woman harassed: A Kuwaiti woman in her 20s filed a complaint at Salmiya Police Station, accusing three compatriot men of harassing her. She said one of the men tried to give her his phone number and when she refused to accept, he allegedly started insulting her. The woman managed to note down the plate number of the suspects’ vehicle and gave it to police.
Details about the suspects and their vehicle have been circulated to all checkpoints.

Toddler saved: A seven-month-old girl, who choked on a piece of food and was ‘turning blue’ in Mutla’a camping area, was rescued by paramedics.   
Medical Emergency Department men had rushed to the infant’s rescue on receiving a distress call, administered first aid and referred her to Jahra Hospital.

Farmhouse ransacked: Thieves broke into the animal pen (farmhouse) of a Kuwaiti man and decamped with most of the furniture. The Kuwaiti owner, who is believed to be in his 40s, registered a complaint and said he made the discovery when he went to the pen along with his family. Securitymen and Criminal Evidence Department men went to the pen and lifted fingerprints from the scene.
