‘Slow pace’ angers department at MoH Al-Sayer meets envoys
KUWAIT CITY, Dec 31: The Public Services Department at the Ministry of Health (MoH) has sent a letter to the Public Health Department, expressing displeasure at the latter’s slow pace of work in identifying the requirements of a building for a new project which will include laboratories for public health, environment, nutrition and microbiology, reports Al-Jarida daily.
Sources said the Public Services Department requested the Administration of Public Health to expedite the procedures to implement the project and submitted a report prepared by the Engineering Affairs Administration. Sources say a three-hour meeting was held a while ago, but none of the committee members attended it. Also, specialists were not invited to the laboratory of environment and nutrition, and all this led to the postponement of the final discussion on the project, note sources.
