Traffic officer bailed out in rape case Schoolgirl sexually assaulted
KUWAIT CITY, Dec 26: The lawyer defending a Farwaniya traffic officer, who is accused of raping an expatriate woman, Hamad Al-Hadyan, said the interrogation of his client commenced Sunday morning. He said the Public Prosecution granted the accused officer unconditional bail to complete investigations, because the plaintiff’s statement contradicted the statements of witnesses. He claimed that the accused officer protected the woman and another person who was with her in a desert region, but she surprisingly reported rape case at Khaitan Police Station. He affirmed innocence of his client, adding many other officers have been similarly accused at various times.
Schoolgirl raped: Police are looking for an unidentified person for raping a seven-year-old schoolgirl, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
A police source said according to a complaint filed by a Lebanese woman with the Salmiya police when the victim returned home from school she looked frightened and unwell and that when her mother went to give her bath, she noticed traces of blood on her private part.
The girl said an unidentified person molested her while she was at school.
