KUWAIT CITY, Dec 22: The Salmiya police have arrested an unidentified Egyptian woman for bootlegging, trafficking in drugs and pimping, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to a security source, police acting on a tip-off put her under surveillance for some time and caught her red-handed while selling bottles of whisky to a police agent.
Following the arrest police confiscated from the woman the marked police money and a carton of booze from her car and a quantity of narcotic pills.
Police also found several SMS on her cell phone from unidentified persons requesting to arrange women for pleasure parties where booze and sex is prevalent.

Woman selling whisky: The Salmiya police have arrested a young Arab woman for selling whisky, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily quoting security sources said police acting on information set a trap for the woman and caught her with five bottles of booze.
During interrogation she admitted to the charge and said she was delivering booze to customers at their homes.
She added she was working for an unidentified youth. Police are looking for him.

Women cheated: Two young women in two separate incidents have filed complaints with the Shamiya Police Station accusing an unidentified youth of cheating them, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
Both women claimed they met the youth at a different café and convinced them that he can make free maintenance on their cars and they fell for the ploy.
The cheat then convinced the women to sign on documents giving him the power of attorney to get the cars serviced on their behalf.
These papers he later used to transfer the vehicles in his name. Police are looking for the swindler.
