Residence transfer notice

I was working in an organization for 3.3 yrs before I was terminated almost 3 months ago. The company has taken from me in writing that I will transfer my residence within 3 months else action will be taken against me.

I want to know what action can the company take against me in case I am unable to find the right job where I can transfer my residence in 3 months.

Answer: You are lucky that your company gave you 3 months to transfer your residence as most firms give only one month for this purpose
There has to be a limit to the amount of time a firm can give you for this purpose and the period you have been given is enough.
The action the company can take is cancel your residence but if you refuse to show up for this purpose, the company can have you declared absconder and file a case against you with the police.

company action.Srivi | 12/20/2010 10:31:17 AM If you are not contacted, your company, after some time, if company want to use your work permit to another person, company will file request in shoun, to cancel your work permit, using your termination notice of 3 months. your residency become cancelled, by company. Better use the opportunity of 3 months, to search for new job, and request company amicably, to extend time.

Till your residency is valid, company agreed, you can search another job. If company permits so. talk to company amicably. As per law 3 months notice is enough. Once company terminated, you have proof, company cannot file absconding case. No need to worry. you have proof and evidence. you can get bail by lawyer, but make sure, company should not file case. Before company file case, you should file case, in shoun first.
