Kuwaiti team attain remarkable achievements in Doha race The Kuwaiti racing team has attained remarkable achievements during the drag racing competitions organized by the Qatar Racing Club in Doha and has won many leading positions.
The winners of various competition categories are as following:
Abdullah al-Shatti from Team Q80 won first place in the ‘8 cylinder’ category; Jamal Al-Jaber from the same team won second place in the ‘4.5 Index’ category; Mohammed Al-Mutairi from Team Blue won second place in the ‘8 cylinder’ category; Mohammed Al-Badah from Team MRB won first place in the ‘Super Street Bike’ category; and Badr Bin Aidan won first place in the ‘Street Bike’ category.
The rave, which ended on Friday Dec 17, witnessed participation from all over the world including Kuwait and other Gulf countries. Commenting on the race, Board Member of the Kuwait 1/4 Mile Automotive Club, Tarek Al-Qudairy, said that the club is proud of its racer’s achievements, especially since they have put tremendous effort in portraying the best image of Kuwait within the automotive sport arena.
“The club has been working towards achieving the best in automotive sports in Kuwait through its participation in international and regional events and other activities and we will continue to do so,” he concluded.
