Four buy KD 29,000 worth goods using fake IDs

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 17: The Hawally CID men have arrested four bedoun for allegedly forging civil IDs and buying electronic items from several companies worth KD 29,000, reports Al-Anba daily.
When several companies filed complaints with the police that some people had bought goods on credit using their ID cards, police investigations revealed the ID cards were forged.

A team formed by the Interior Ministry to nab the suspects led them to one of the suspects and during interrogation he admitted to stealing civil IDs of people and forging them to buy goods.
He also led police to four of his accomplices. Police reports show the men had bought various types of electronic items including cell phones and television sets.

650 gms of gold stolen: Police are looking for an unidentified Asian worker for allegedly stealing 650 grams of gold from a shop in Salhiya, reports Al-Rai daily.
It has been reported when the owner failed to contact the worker, he filed a complaint with the Salhiya Police Station.
The value of the gold is believed to be KD 5,850.

Brother steals KD 450 from bank: A Kuwaiti man, who is believed to be in his 40s, has filed a complaint with the Farwaniya police accusing his brother of stealing KD 450 from his bank account.
The man told police he lost his ATM card inside the house and as he was searching for it, he was shocked when he got a message on his cell phone saying KD 450 has been withdrawn from his account.
The brother has been summoned for interrogation.

KD 200, cell phone stolen: Police have arrested a bedoun for waylaying an Asian man and stealing from him KD 200 and his cell phone. The arrest came when the victim filed a complaint with the police and gave description of the culprit.
Police combed the area and arrested the man inside the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh commercial area. He has been referred to the concerned authorities.

2 held for six criminal cases
: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti man and a bedoun who were wanted by law in six criminal cases including drug cases.
The men allegedly tried in vain to escape from police and they were involved in a 20-minute car chase with police patrols.
They were finally surrounded by police and forced to surrender in the vicinity of the Entertainment City in Doha.
They have been referred to the concerned authorities.
