Indian held in fraud, forgery Kuwaiti, Pakistani caught with drugs
KUWAIT CITY, Dec 15: Securitymen arrested an Indian in Mubarak Al-Kabeer for violating the Residency Law, forging documents and failing to return a number of rented cars.
The securitymen discovered the Indian is wanted by law for various charges when they looked into his security records upon reaching a checkpoint in the area. They found out he has been staying in the country without a valid residence permit over the last three years, in addition to several complaints filed by car rental companies, which accused him of forging documents in order not to return the vehicles he rented.
The Indian was referred to the concerned security department for the necessary legal action.
Two caught with drugs: Police arrested a Kuwaiti and a Pakistani in Salmiya for the possession of an undisclosed quantity of heroin.
While patrolling the area, the security officers noticed a car parked suspiciously with a Kuwaiti and a Pakistani inside. When the officers approached the car, they noticed the two men looked agitated, so they checked the vehicle thoroughly until they discovered the heroin. The suspects were referred to the Drug Control General Department for the necessary action.
Sponsor’s sons beat Asian: An Asian man filed a complaint at Ardiya Police Station against his sponsor and the latter’s sons, who allegedly took turns in beating him.
The complainant told police he had a heated argument with his sponsor, which led to the beating. He provided police with a medical report to substantiate his claim, as well as a detailed description of his alleged attackers. A case was registered and police will summon the suspects for questioning.
Kuwaiti arrested: Securitymen arrested a Kuwaiti wanted by law for his involvement in a financial case.
While patrolling in Salmiya, the securitymen asked the Kuwaiti to stop for inspection. When they checked his security record, the officers discovered he had earlier evaded arrest for his involvement in financial fraud case worth over half a million Kuwaiti dinars. He was referred to the relevant security department for the necessary legal action.
