KUWAIT CITY, Dec 14: Police have arrested an Asian man for raping a female compatriot, reports Al-Rai daily.
This happened when the rapist went to visit his friend and when the wife told him the man was not at home, he took advantage of the situation, forced his way into the house and raped his wife.
When the husband learned about the incident, he was reportedly furious and filed a complaint with the police and gave the address of his friend who lived in Andalus.
The friend has been referred to the authorities.

Woman flees: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti youth for immoral behavior, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to reports the suspect was in the company of an unidentified young woman in a tent and some campers who witnessed the incident called the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior.
When police went to the camp the youth was semi nude. He resisted police and allowed the woman to escape to another tent.
However, during interrogation the owner of the tent is said to have denied the presence of a woman. The youth has been detained for interrogation.

Police attacked: The Rumai-thiya police have arrested nine Asians for attacking police and harassing female students of a college in Salmiya, reports Al-Rai daily.
The arrest came when police received complaints from the parents of many students. When police reached the spot the suspects allegedly resisted arrest and attacked police. They have been detained at a police station.

Kidnap bid foiled: Police have arrested a number of youths for allegedly attempting to kidnap a bedoun youth, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The incident happened in Waha, Jahra. According to reports the victim was standing in front of his home and some friends lured him to get into their vehicle for a joy ride.
However, when they were on their way to Salmi, he sensed their bad intentions and jumped out of the running car and got injured. The youths are being interrogated.

Kuwaiti arrested: The Capital governorate police have arrested a Kuwaiti man who is wanted by law for issuing a KD 100,000 dud cheque, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to security sources the man was put under surveillance because he evaded arrest and police caught him in Salhiya. He has been referred to the authorities.

Fake cop nabbed: Police have arrested a Syrian man for impersonating police, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The arrest came when the Syrian went to the Rumaithiya Police Station, introduced himself as 1st lieutenant and sought the release of a person who was in police custody.
The officer on duty who knew all his colleagues who graduated in the same batch from the Police Academy suspected the behavior of the Syrian and asked him some questions related to police affairs. The Syrian turned out to be a roadside watermelon seller.

Waiter stabbed: Police are looking for three persons for stabbing a waiter of a restaurant in Salmiya, reports Al-Rai daily.
The waiter has been admitted to a hospital.
