Chocolate cream fingers
Ingredients:
- 120 gm butter, softened;
- 90 gm sugar;
- 140 gm flour;
- 1 medium Egg;
- 1tbsp cocoa;
- 1 pinch Salt;
- Icing Sugar;
For the chocolate icing:
- 100 gm Sugar;
- 3 tbsp Butter, melted;
- 90 ml milk;
- 170 gm Chocolate chips
Method: Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg. Add flour, cocoa and salt and form stiff dough. Pipe the mixture in equal lengths onto a greased baking tray. Preheat oven to 180°C. Bake for 10-15 minutes. Dust with icing sugar or dip the ends in chocolate icing. For the Icing: Combine all ingredients except chocolate in a saucepan over low high heat. Stir constantly until melted. Bring to a boil for 1 minute, still stirring. Remove from heat and add in chocolate. Stir until completely melted.
