Arab doctor demands bribe to not file case against Kuwaiti
KUWAIT CITY, Dec 9: A Kuwaiti man, whose identity has not been disclosed, has filed a complaint with the police accusing an Arab doctor of verbally abusing him, reports Al-Anba daily.
This happened when the citizen’s wife was ill and the man took her to the Adan Hospital. Because of her condition the man took permission from other people in the queue for a chance to see the doctor first.
However, the doctor refused to examine the wife and insisted she wait for her turn. At this point the Kuwaiti insulted the doctor and took his wife to another doctor in the same hospital.
It has been reported the Kuwaiti was sure the doctor would file a case against him so he summoned his brother to settle the issue and at this time the doctor reportedly asked for KD 200 not to file the case against the man.
Kuwaiti kills self: A Kuwaiti man, whose identity has not been disclosed, reportedly ended his life by hanging himself with a rope tied to the ceiling fan in his room, reports Al-Rai daily.
The incident happened in Jabriya. According to sources, the death was discovered by family members.
Acting on information paramedics and police rushed to the spot and referred the remains to the Criminal Evidences Department.
Investigations are underway to know why the man ended his life.
Officer guilty: The Central Prison guards are said to have arrested a military man working at the facility for smuggling cell phones and prepaid cards for the inmates, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to reports the man was selling the forbidden for huge sums of money.
Acting on information the Assistant Undersecretary for Penitentiaries and Prisons Major-General Anwar Al-Yassein formed a team of guards, set a trap and caught the man red-handed with four cell phones and an unidentified number of prepaid cards.
