‘Clear telephone unpaid bills’

Director of Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Communications Ahmad Mohammad Ramadan has urged landline telephone subscribers to clear their overdue bills at the earliest to avoid automated disconnection of their lines, reports Al-Rai daily.
A warning message would be sent to subscribers on Dec 12 which will be followed by another message on mobile phones on Dec 19. Starting Dec 26, lines of all defaulters would be disconnected, say sources, adding KD 50 is the maximum bill at which residential lines will be cut off, while KD 100 is the ceiling for commercial lines.
